- Earthquake in Greece

An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude hit Greece the last 2nd of February. It was felt on the Greek island named Cephallony which is located in the Ionian Sea and 300km from Athens.
The earthquake didn't make any victims however does damages has been important. Many facilities have been damaged and roads landslides have been important and the quay port of the town of Lixourion has serious gaps.

- 9 millions d'euros embezzled by an NGO
Big scandal this last February in the country, the Greek authorities have announced the update of one of the most important cases of misuse of public money.
Indeed, 9 million euros was defrauded by the NGO International Mine Initiative (IMI). Subsidies paid by public authorities would have served to finance personal expenses of officials of the NGO.
The government puts forward its determination in the fight against embezzlement.
